Mac is responsible for implementing the company's business plan by managing day-to-day operations. He oversees the company's product development efforts, business process initiatives, sales support, customer service delivery, operating support systems, human resources, operations & engineering, internet operations, training, marketing, public relations and regulatory functions.

Mac also serves as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Product Management and Sales Support. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mac served as ConnectSouth's Vice President of Marketing. Before joining ConnectSouth, Mac was Senior Director, Marketing and Sales Support for VTEL Corporation with responsibility for product management, business development, strategic relationships, channel management and vertical marketing programs. His career also includes extensive management experience in contracting; controllership, and telecommunications project management. In addition, Mac served as a career officer in the United States Army with his final duty assignment in the Pentagon as the Executive to the Director of Operations.

He received a Doctorate Degree in Higher Education (Institutional Leadership) from Oklahoma State University; a Master's Degree in Operations and Plans from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Tampa.
