As Chairman and CEO, Jeff was responsible for developing ConnectSouth's business plan, assembling a management team of industry-leading professionals and securing the initial round of $100 million in start-up equity. Since ConnectSouth's initial funding in October 1999, Jeff has been responsible for day-to-day operations, ongoing financing and setting the strategic direction of the company.

Prior to creating ConnectSouth, Jeff was President/COO and Board Member of LEC Unwired, LLC, where he was recruited to build a facilities-based CLEC/Internet company in the Gulf States Region.

Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from Clemson University.
