Leonard is responsible for evaluating and implementing strategic partnership opportunities for ConnectSouth. He originally joined the company as Senior Vice President of Internet Operations, charged with building a team of experienced Internet professionals and establishing the systems required to support ConnectSouth's advanced services product offerings.

Previously, Leonard was President and Chief Executive Officer of the IONET Division of PSINet, Inc., one of the world's largest and most experienced providers of IP-based communications services for businesses. He also managed Internet security, Web and database hosting services, e-commerce solutions, voice, fax, live audio-video capabilities and other applications.

With more than 20 years of experience in the communications and high-technology industries, Leonard is a Novell Enterprise Certified NetWare Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Compaq Accredited Systems Engineer.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
