Problem: The connections were dependable but slow. Large files took hours to download often delaying printing and distribution of the Sapulpa Daily Herald. Solution: The newspaper wanted an SDSL connection to handle daily downloads of several large documents, including television programming schedules for the TV guide, large weather maps, advertising copy from Internet sites and other pieces of information that are critical to the timely production of a daily newspaper. ConnectSouth installed an SDSL line on the day promised -- less than three weeks after initially contacting the publisher. "Anyone can provide DSL service, but when you have questions or problems, you get a response from ConnectSouth. Other companies can respond, they just don't."
Problem: The growing firm was using three separate service providers: ADSL service for Web browsing, ISDN lines from a worldwide provider for e-mail connection and a local provider for Web site hosting. Solution: ConnectSouth approached Barfield with a proposal to combine all services from a single provider, increase bandwidth and reduce service costs. "With ConnectSouth we get more bandwidth for less money. The pricing was very attractive, but what really persuaded us was that they spoke with confidence about what they could do and we knew from their excellent references that they could do it."
Problem: While investigating local Internet providers that could assist with bringing their church online, First Baptist Church Round Rock found that no one took the time to understand how churches are different from commercial businesses and, equally frustrating, no one offered clear answers or proposals. Solution: ConnectSouth listened and provided a proposal on the same day requested. "Working with ConnectSouth is like talking to a member of the family. They feel real to me because every time I call their office I get immediate attention. From quotation to installation, they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. That's important to my organization."
Problem: The Oklahoma City Blazers only had two laptop computers in their business office, each with a 56K modem and dial-up connection through a major network provider. The slowest skater on the team could have hand delivered a message faster! Solution: ConnectSouth worked with the Blazers to install a DSL line with e-mail account management. Today, the Blazers' business office has ten workstations, and the staff is enjoying a dramatic increase in communications due to the new technology. "ConnectSouth has taken us from non-existent network communications to a fully integrated solution. We didn't know what we didn't have!"
Problem: When St. Edward's University first established their university-wide network, they leased access to a T-1 line. While this solution never resulted in any downtime, it did take St. Edward's users a long time to connect to Web sites. Solution: ConnectSouth installed DSL Internet access at St. Edward's, quadrupled the output of their previous T-1 line and cut the cost of the monthly service by more than 50 percent. "ConnectSouth worked with us to develop a less expensive method to bring high-speed Internet access to our students and faculty."
Problem: Computer Access was aggravated by the fact that it could take three to five days to get any assistance from their previous ISP's customer service department. Computer Access was slowed in its own productivity and sales efforts and, worse yet, was losing credibility with its customers. Solution: Computer Access switched to ConnectSouth and service became so impressive that ConnectSouth now provides a host of other services, including Web hosting and firewalls, for the network integrator and its customers. "ConnectSouth is our link to the outside world. They guarantee that my communications lines and the lines for my customers are never down and they never have been. Equally impressive, they have the best overall customer service, especially when it comes to response time, than any other provider of network communications."
Problem: Baseline Consultants needed reliable, high-speed Internet service to send Adobe Acrobat files to project teams across the nation. They had experienced days of connection down-time with their previous "big name" provider. Solution: ConnectSouth installed a SDSL line that gave every Baseline staff member instant Internet access. There are no more shared lines or worries about the Internet connection going down. "I am extremely impressed with the abilities and quick response of ConnectSouth's people."
Problem: Kelly Realtors needed a faster, more cost-effective Internet connection to transfer numerous large files on a consistent basis. Ultimately, they needed a more efficient way to do business. Solution: Kelly Realtors hired ConnectSouth to install a 272K DSL line. The high-speed access decreased work time by several hours each week and cut costs by more than 60%. "Now our employees have peace of mind while transmitting data, and are saving precious time. We now communicate and work more quickly and efficiently than before."
Problem: Paragon Scientific Corporation needed a high-speed Internet service provider who was responsive to their needs and available whenever there was a technical issue. Solution: Paragon switched to ConnectSouth and installed a T-1 line, backed by ConnectSouth's superior customer service. "I was very impressed with ConnectSouth. They are a young company with bright people who put customer needs first."
