Types of Information We Collect When you establish an account with ConnectSouth, certain contact information is collected such as your name, address, and phone number, as well as specific payment information, including a credit card number. When using ConnectSouth’s services, our systems record information about your session, such as the dates and times of use, and the specific Internet address assigned to you. We also record requests you make for information on our products and services, as well as, any responses you provide to our customer surveys. Billing records are kept of your payment history and communications you have with ConnectSouth's support team. Except in extraordinary circumstances (when we receive a court order, to protect the company's rights or property, or in emergencies where someone's safety is at risk), ConnectSouth does not keep track of what sites you visit when you are using the service. Why We Collect the Information The information we collect is used to contact you concerning your account, the type of service available to you and to inform you of operations about our company. Payment information is used to validate your identity and to bill you for the services and products you order. Information on your online sessions is used to allocate system resources and to ensure compliance with ConnectSouth’s Terms of Service Agreement and helps the ConnectSouth support team to diagnose server problems and perform site administration. Data Security ConnectSouth will protect the confidentiality of its customers' information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of ConnectSouth, its partners, its employees and other customers of ConnectSouth's services.
